This is not a new blog: this is the third period of my personal blog HONTZA (what means owl in Basque Language)
I have decided starting again the blog because I want to start it from the beggining again; really I want to do a diferent blog, but I don’t want to lose the old one, so tada!!!
I’m going to write about all the things that matters to me: politics, the situation in my country, management, globalization, the social web, etc.
But the most important diference is that I’m going to write the blog in English… ¿why?. Well, first of all, I really need to practice and to improve my english and I think this is the best way to do it. So, I beg all of you that comment a lot and that you do it in english too. Also need you to correct me if I «put my foot in it»
The second reason to write the blog in english is that I think is a great way to increase and diversify the people who follow this blog.
Any way, as I don’t know how much of my current followers understand english, I’ll make a translation of each post to spanish ir order to make it easier for them.

Este no es un nuevo blog; es la tercera época de mi blog HONTZA (que significa búho en euskera)
He decidido comenzar de nuevo el blog porque quiero hacerlo desde el principio; realmente quiero hacer un blog distinto pero no quiero perder el anterior así que tada!!!
Voy a escribir sobre todo lo que me importa: política, la situación en mi país, gestión, globalización, la web social, etc.
Pero la diferencia más importante es que voy a escribir el blog en inglés… ¿Por qué? Bueno, en primer lugar porque necesito practicar y mejorar mi inglés y creo que esta es la mejor manera de hacerlo. Así que os pido que comentéis mucho y que lo hagáis en inglés también. Igualmente necesito que me corrijáis cuando meta la pata.
El segundo motivo de escribir el blog en inglés es que me parece una buena manera de incrementar y diversificar la audiencia.
De todos modos, como no se cuantos de mis actuales lectores saben inglés, haré una traducción en castellano de cada post para facilitarles las cosas.

I was thinking to change my blog service as well. Why did you select WordPress? What about Blogger? I have seen some interesting gadgets in Blogger.

I think WordPress is much more customizable than Blogger, but is only one impression because I don’t know too much about Blogger.
Anyway, robertoC is an expert in WordPress and I’m sure he could advise you much better than me.

Bengoetxe, the best thing of wordpress is that is fully customizable if you use is at your own hosting (e.g., ilegorri.com) . There are a lot of «themes» (graphic interfaces) and plugins you can add easily and for free. Many of these themes and plugins are also included in wordpress.com, the free platform of wp.
